Happy New Year!!!

Hi everyone! 

Happy New Year! 

2011 was great! and I hope 2012 will be even better!! 

Anyway, I wanted to do something fancy for this occasion, so I made a traditional Japanese New Year post card in SUPER FANCY style!!!

Ok. I guess I have to explain on this.. 

So the New Year is big occasion in my country. 

We celebrate by putting sybolistic displays out for numbers of reasons. Which, I should explain in detail, but I'm really bad at explaining things, so I'll put links to Wiki for people who want to know more in detail. 

Shawn is dressed in Shisi (Lion) We have Lion dance for new years http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_dance#Japanese_Lion

Max is dressed in Kagami Mochi (Sweet rice w/ orange on top) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kagami_mochi

Keiko is Dragon, since it is the year of Dragon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_(zodiac)
